KIEV (Reuters) - A newly formed five-party coalition in the Ukrainian parliament on Thursday nominated Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk to stay on as head of the government.

Parliament, meeting in its first session since an election in October, was to vote on the coalition's proposal later. Former deputy prime minister Volodymyr Groysman was also nominated to the powerful post of speaker of parliament.
