JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A mortar bomb was fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in the first such attack since an Aug. 26 truce halted a seven-week war in the Palestinian enclave, the Israeli military said.

There were no casualties or damage, a military spokeswoman said.
