(Reuters) - A friend of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, has agreed to plead guilty to federal charges, his lawyer said, according to a report on the Boston Globe's website on Wednesday.

Dias Kadyrbayev, who is accused of removing evidence from Tsarnaev's dormitory room, is scheduled to change his "not guilty" plea on Thursday afternoon, his attorney Robert Stahl told the newspaper.

Stahl could not be reached immediately for further comment.
