LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister David Cameron says a long-delayed report on the Iraq war should be published by the end of 2014 —five years after the inquiry began.

Cameron told Sky News that the delay was frustrating, and "the public wants to see the answers of the inquiry."

The inquiry, led by retired civil servant John Chilcot, was set up to examine mistakes made before and after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. It held public hearings between 2009 and 2011.

Its report has been delayed by negotiations with a top civil servants over the inclusion of classified material including conversations between then-Prime Minister Tony Blair and President George W. Bush.
