(The Sports Xchange) - The San Antonio Spurs moved effortlessly towards the cusp of the Western Conference finals after easing to a 118-103 Game Three road victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.

The Spurs took an early grip on the contest and never relinquished control as they seized a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference semi-finals series.

Tony Parker scored 29 points to lead another stellar team effort by San Antonio, which last won the NBA championship in 2007.

Unless Portland can win the next four games, the Spurs will play either the Oklahoma City Thunder or Los Angeles Clippers for a place in the NBA Finals.
