U.S. appeals court upholds hazardous air pollution rule

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday upheld an Obama administration regulation for hazardous air pollutants emitted by coal and oil-fired power plants.

The regulation, which limits emissions of mercury and other pollutants, had been challenged by industry groups, in addition to some states and environmental groups.
