(Reuters) - A body recovered from a northwestern Indiana lake has been confirmed as that of a Michigan doctor who apparently left her workplace on her own in December and suffered an accidental drowning, authorities said Wednesday.

Teleka Patrick, 30, who went missing on December 5, drove straight to the location where her car was found along an interstate highway, Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller told a news conference. There were no signs of trauma, he said.
