NATO allies agree on Stoltenberg as next secretary-general: sources

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - NATO countries have reached agreement that former Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg will be the Western military alliance's next secretary-general, diplomatic sources said on Friday.

"There's a consensus on his candidacy," one NATO source said, adding that a formal announcement could be made very soon.
