ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Reuters) - Germany narrowly beat defending Olympic champions Austria to win the men's ski jumping team competition on Monday in a contest where the lead changed several times.
Germany went ahead for good with two rounds to go and won by 1041.1 points to 1038.4. points.
Japan were well behind in third place.
For the Austrians the silver was some reward at the end of a bad Games in which the team underperformed in the individual events.
