TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Ann Romney is talking up her family, faith and, of course, her husband — hours after her speech to the Republican National Convention.
The wife of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney campaigned across the battleground state of Florida on Wednesday. She told friendly crowds that her husband is a man people can trust and will work hard for the country.
Romney started out at a fundraiser in Tampa, Fla., where she met up with Janna Ryan, who is the wife of Romney running mate Paul Ryan. Romney's five daughters-in-law also joined her.
Romney said that when her five sons were small, she prayed they would find good wives. She also joked that watching her sons raise her grandchildren was payback for the ruckus they caused growing up.
