GOVERNMENT TURMOIL: Greece's new coalition government suffered another setback as the second Cabinet member in two days quit. And the prime minister is recovering from a serious eye operation, leaving him unable to attend a European Union leaders' summit later this week.

FINANCE MINISTER: Venicos' departure follows the Monday resignation of the designated finance minister because of illness. A new finance minister, prominent economist Yannis Stournaras, was named Tuesday.
