The following recalls have been announced:



DETAILS: Imaginarium 5-Sided Activity Center imported by Toys "R" Us Inc. of Wayne, N.J.; sold at Toys "R" Us stores nationwide and online from August 2009 through September 2010, selling for about $25. The name "Imaginarium" appears in a blue, oval-shaped logo underneath the mirror on one end of the activity center. The activity centers were manufactured in China.

WHY: The small wooden knobs attaching the xylophone keys to the end can detach, causing a choking hazard to young children.

INCIDENTS: Eight reports of the knobs detaching; no injuries reported to the company.

DETAILS: ECHO Bear Cat hydraulic log splitters manufactured by Crary Industries of West Fargo, N.D., model numbers LS27270 and LS27270T, date code 012908, sold at ECHO Bear Cat dealers nationwide from October 2007 through March 2012 for about $2,600. They were manufactured in the U.S.

WHY: The end cap of the log splitter's hydraulic cylinder can break away from the body of the log splitter, posing an impact hazard to the user or bystander.

INCIDENTS: Three reports of the hydraulic cylinder end caps detaching, resulting in one injury from a cylinder reportedly striking a consumer in the head.

HOW MANY: About 120.
