Obama to speak to TV anchors about Iraq, spending

President Barack Obama is sitting down in the White House for interviews with four TV stations whose cities have large military communities.

The White House says Obama will talk Tuesday morning about the sacrifices and achievements of those who served in Iraq, and the end of America's military involvement there at the end of this month. He'll also talk about his efforts to extend the payroll tax cut.

Obama will give interviews to WVEC of Norfolk, Va.; WEAR of Pensacola, Fla.; KOAA of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and KIRO of Seattle.

Later Tuesday morning, the president will give remarks at a campaign event in Washington.
