Senate OKs retraining program blocking trade deals

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Thursday approved a worker retraining program demanded by President Barack Obama as a price for sending three long-delay free trade agreement to Congress to approval.

Senators passed the measure 69-28 as part of a larger trade bill, which was expected to be approved later on Thursday.
