Obama to hold news conference on debt talks

President Barack Obama will discuss negotiations over the nation's debt in a morning news conference.

In the afternoon, the president will call the crews of the space shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station. It's the last mission of the U.S. shuttle program.

Later in the day, Obama meets with Ruby Bridges and representatives of the Norman Rockwell Museum. Rockwell's painting "The Problem We All Live With" is displayed outside the Oval Office. It depicts a landmark moment in the civil rights movement, the day Bridges integrated a New Orleans school in 1960.
