Obama worried about Libya oil disruption: official

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama was deeply concerned about the impact of oil disruption from Libya, a senior administration official said on Thursday after the United States announced it would tap its emergency petroleum stockpile.

"The U.S. stands ready to do more as is necessary to address this issue," a senior administration official told reporters.
