White House: concerned about oil price, has options

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is concerned about the effect of oil prices on the economy and retains all the tools at its disposal to deal with them, White House deputy national security adviser Michael Froman said on Wednesday.

Froman, speaking at an energy conference, noted the OPEC meeting earlier in the day where members failed to agree to raise or lower output, but he did not comment specifically on the decision.
