Obama to name Bryson as Commerce secretary: official

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will name former Edison International chief executive John Bryson on Tuesday to be the new U.S. Commerce secretary, a White House official said.

Bryson will replace Gary Locke, whom Obama has chosen to become U.S. ambassador to China.
