Obama will discuss democracy in Middle East with G8

LONDON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Wednesday he will discuss with the G8 how to support moves toward democracy in the Middle East.

Speaking at a news conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron, Obama said: "Tomorrow we'll discuss with our G8 partners how those of us in the wider international community can best support nations that make the reforms necessary to build a framework for democracy, freedom and prosperity for their people."

He also echoed Cameron's call for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to leave power.
