WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Thursday the U.S. future is bound to that of the Middle East and North Africa, and said more leaders in that region may follow those who have stepped aside.

He also said in a major speech on the region that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, who was killed by U.S. special forces this month, was a mass murdered, not a martyr, whose ideas were being rejected even before he was killed.
