NEW YORK (AP) — Rachel Weisz is coming back to a New York stage as a former secret agent.

The Public Theater said Thursday that the Oscar-winning actress will appear in a revival of David Hare's "Plenty," directed by Tony nominee David Leveaux. It will be presented during the 2016-2017 season. Exact dates were not announced.

The play — about a brave British secret agent who finds adjustment to peacetime hard — first premiered at the Public in 1982 and then transferred to Broadway in 1983, receiving a Tony nomination for best play.

The play was later made into a film, featuring Meryl Streep, Tracey Ullman, Sting, Ian McKellen, Charles Dance and John Gielgud.

Weisz last appeared on Broadway in 2013, starring opposite her husband, Daniel Craig, in a revival of Harold Pinter's "Betrayal."
