LONDON (AP) — "Downton Abbey" star Michelle Dockery is swapping one aristocratic world for another in a new production of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses."
Dockery is scheduled to appear alongside Dominic West and Janet McTeer in Christopher Hampton's play about nobles fighting a battle of sexual wiles in 18th-century France.
The production, directed by Josie Rourke, opens at London's Donmar Warehouse in December.
Dockery plays Lady Mary Crawley in TV costume drama "Downton Abbey," which is currently filming its sixth and final season.
The Donmar also announced Wednesday that its all-female production of Shakespeare's "Henry IV," starring Harriet Walter, will play at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York in November.
St. Ann's upcoming season also includes a production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" starring Gillian Anderson that first ran at London's Young Vic.
