NEW YORK (AP) — Scottish illustrator Johanna Basford, whose "Secret Garden" and "Enchanted Forest" have made her one of the world's most popular authors and launched a wave of best-selling adult coloring books, has a two-book deal Penguin Random House.
The publisher announced Thursday that its first book with Basford, "Lost Ocean," will come out Oct. 27.
Both "Secret Garden," published in 2013, and "Enchanted Forest," released earlier this year, have been high on Amazon's best-seller list for weeks. Their success has helped make top sellers of such related works as Angie Grace's "Balance" and Marjorie Samat's "Creative Haven Creative Cats Coloring Book."
According to Penguin Random House, "Lost Ocean" will allow "color-inners of all ages to discover an enchanting underwater world hidden in the depths of the sea."
