WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will host Britain's Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, at the White House in March.
The White House says Obama will meet with the royals in the Oval Office on March 19. The White House says the meeting underscores the "special relationship" between the U.S. and United Kingdom.
Prince Charles and Camilla will be in Washington as part of a broader trip to the U.S. The White House says that while in Washington, the royal couple will also visit George Washington's home at Mt. Vernon and the National Archives, where the prince will mark the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta.
Obama hosted Prince Charles' son, William, at the White House last year.
