WASHINGTON (AP) — Comedian Carol Burnett has stopped by the White House to visit President Barack Obama a day after being awarded the nation's top prize in humor.

The White House released a photo of Burnett and Obama in the Oval Office, with Obama sitting on his desk and Burnett resting her hand on her trophy.

Burnett on Sunday was awarded the 16th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Julie Andrews, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler all performed during the show at the Kennedy Center

Burnett joins a cast of celebrities who have visited the White House in recent days. Nina Davuluri, the first Indian-American winner of the Miss America pageant, and endurance swimmer Diana Nyad were both spotted last week on the White House grounds.
