Work is scheduled to resume Wednesday in unrestricted areas of a Cincinnati casino construction site where a floor collapsed, injuring more than a dozen workers.
The president of Messer Construction Co. says construction, safety and inspection procedures were reviewed and new ones added to prevent another collapse at the Horseshoe Casino project.
The company won't comment on details of Friday's collapse until the investigation is complete.
Cincinnati's chief building officer told city council members Tuesday the city requested assurances from federal workplace safety regulators and structural engineers it was safe for workers to return.
Workers were hurt when the concrete floor they were pouring gave way.
The collapse occurred weeks after a similar Cleveland casino accident with the same developers, who say the cases aren't linked.
