Argentina's Borensztein wins at Rome Film Fest

Argentine director Sebastian Borensztein's film about a lonely hardware store owner and a Chinese man who comes to live with him has won the top prize at the Rome Film Festival.

"Un Cuento Chino" (A Chinese Story) picked up the Marc Aurelio jury award for best film Friday as well as the audience award for best picture among the 15 films in competition.

Noomi Rapace won best actress for "Babycall" while Guillaume Canet picked up the best actor award for his role in "Une Vie Meilleure."

Richard Gere was honored with a lifetime acting award by the jury headed by Oscar-winning Italian composer Ennio Morricone and composed of Roberto Bolle, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, and actresses Debra Winger and Carmen Chaplin.
