Star power will be on maximum when all five nominees for entertainer of the year perform during the 45th annual Country Music Association Awards.
Taylor Swift and her four male competitors _ reigning entertainer Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton _ will appear when the show airs live Nov. 9 from Nashville, Tenn., on ABC. Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts. The entertainer of the year nominees are the first performers announced by the CMA.
Aldean, Paisley, Shelton and Swift lead all nominees with five nominations apiece. Aldean and Shelton are up for the CMA's top award for the first time, reflecting remarkable years that launched them to new levels of popularity. Paisley, Swift and Urban have each won one entertainer trophy.
