Grains higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was up 2.60 cents at $4.2120 a bushel; Dec corn gained 2.20 cents 3.48 a bushel; December oats gained 7 cents at $2.7160 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was up 1.60 cents at $9.7540 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was up .98 cent at $1.2660 a pound; November feeder cattle was up .65 cent at $1.6008 a pound; December lean hogs lost .45 cent at $.6755 a pound.
