Grains lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was off 3.60 cents at $4.21 a bushel; Dec corn fell 2.20 cents 3.4640 a bushel; December oats gained 1.20 cents at $2.6440 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was down .40 cent at $9.7320 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was down .03 cent at $1.1955 a pound; November feeder cattle was down .03 cent at $1.5830 a pound; December lean hogs gained .53 cent at $.6568 a pound.
