CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar. was up 7.50 cents to 4.2625 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 1 cent at 3.5825 a bushel; Mar. oats gained 4 cents at $2.3575 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans advanced 29 cents to $10.32 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. February live cattle was off 1.65 cents at $1.1747 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.73 cents at $1.3032 a pound; while February lean hogs rose .35 cent at $.6595 a pound.
