Grain higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 2.40 cents higher $4.1040 a bushel; December corn was up 1.20 cents at $3.4660 bushel; December oats was 2.60 cents lower at $2.2960 a bushel while January soybeans gained 17.60 cent to $10.1140 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .98 cent higher at $1.0930 a pound; January feeder cattle was up .78 cent at $1.2575 pound; December lean hogs gained 1.95 cents to $.4885 a pound.
