Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. fell 8.50 cents to 4.0675 a bushel; Dec. corn was down 13.50 cents to 3.4075 a bushel; Dec. oats was off 3.25 cents at $2.2250 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans declined 19.75 cents to $9.82 a bushel.

Beef higher, pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was up .87 cent at $1.0347 a pound; November feeder cattle rose .15 cent to $1.2455 a pound; while December lean hogs fell .42 cent at $.4655 a pound.
