Grain lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 6 cents higher at $3.82 a bushel; Sept. corn was .50 cent lower at $3.2940 bushel; Dec. oats was .50 cent lower at $1.7660 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 1 cent to $9.9620 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was 1.45 cents higher at $1.0585 a pound; September feeder cattle was 1.15 cent higher at $1.3538 pound; October lean hogs gained .85 cent to to $.6008 a pound.
