Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thuresday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. rose 7.25 cents at $3.61 a bushel; Sept. corn gained 9.50 cents to 3.11 a bushel; Sept. oats was up 5.25 cents at $1.6625 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans fell 1 cent to $9.59 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was off 3 cents at $1.0357 a pound; September feeder cattle fell 3.22 cents to $1.3730 a pound; while October lean hogs rose .47 cent at $.6332 a pound.
