Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 4 cents higher at $4.2740 a bushel; Sept. corn was 3 cents higher at $3.3040 bushel; Sept. oats was 2.50 cents lower at $1.6960 a bushel; while August soybeans gained 7.50 cents to $10.27 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .65 cent lower at $1.1485 a pound; August feeder cattle was off .58 cent at $1.4655 pound; August lean hogs was up .23 cent to $.6008 a pound.
