Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 4.75 cents at $4.1775 a bushel; Sept. corn fell 3.25 cents to 3.3425 a bushel; Sept. oats was up 2 cents at $2.0775 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans gained 5.50 cents to $10.3250 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off 1.90 cents at $1.0752 a pound; August feeder cattle lost 4.22 cents to $1.3862 a pound; while August lean hogs fell 1.75 cents at $.7445 a pound.
