Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 4.50 cents at $4.2175 a bushel; July corn was off 3.50 cents to 3.6225 a bushel; July oats lost 20.75 cents at $2.17 a bushel; while July soybeans declined 16.50 cents to $11.1150 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was up 1.27 cents at $1.1272 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 2.43 cents to $1.4170 a pound; while July lean hogs gained .13 cent at $.8030 a pound.
