Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 5 cents a bale higher at $4.2060 a bushel; July corn was 5.50 cents higher at $3.4150 bushel; Sept oats was 2 cents higher at $1.9450 a bushel; while July soybeans lost 17.50 cents to $10.8860 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .75 cent lower at $1.1205 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.13 cents lower at $1.4345 pound; July lean hogs lost .18 cent to $.8140 a pound.
