Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 1.50 cents higher at $4.4860 a bushel; May corn was 2.50 cents higher at $3.7020 bushel; July oats was .50 cent lower at $1.89 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 15.60 cents to $10.3440 a bushel.

Beef mostly lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .18 cent higher at $1.2348 a pound; May feeder cattle was .28 cent lower at $1.5053 a pound; May lean hogs gained .65 cent to $.7675 a pound.
