Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery gaind 18 cents at $5.0425 a bushel; May corn was up 10.25 cents to 3.9475 a bushel; May oats rose 11.25 cents to $2.07 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 24.25 cents at $10.0975 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was down 1.02 cents to $1.2630 a pound; April feeder cattle fell .77 cent to $1.4940 a pound; while April lean hogs was up 1.02 cents at $.7722 a pound.
