Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursd0ay in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 3 cents higher at $4.4560 a bushel; March corn 1 cent lower at $3.5340 a bushel; May oats 3.50 cents higher at $1.8360 a bushel; while March soybeans gained 1.50 cents at $8.5540 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .75 cent lower at $1.3555 a pound; March feeder cattle was .95 cent lower at $1.5735 a pound; April lean hogs lost .68 cent at $.6938 a pound.
