Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 2.75 cents to $4.54 a bushel; May corn was off 4 cents to 3.6050 a bushel; May oats fell 3.50 cents to 1.8350 a bushel; while May soybeans declined 6.75 cents at $8.6550 bushel.

Beef was highe and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. April live cattle was up 1.20 cents to $1.3735 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 1.15 cents to $1.5910 a pound; while April lean hogs fell .35 cent at $.7112 a pound.
