NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — The Convention and Visitors Bureau of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce is urging visitors to "Just Coast."
The chamber on Wednesday unveiled its new marketing campaign to draw visitors to the northern end of South Carolina's Grand Strand. The new marketing effort starts immediately.
The new campaign is based on the concept that North Myrtle Beach and its seaside communities offer the most relaxing vacations for families.
During the announcement, chamber officials also said that tourism in North Myrtle Beach is an almost $100 million industry.
The Grand Strand is the heart of South Carolina's tourism industry. Tourism statewide means $18 billion to the South Carolina economy.
