Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery lost 7.25 cents to $4.7175 a bushel; March corn fell 5.75 cents to 3.6625 a bushel; March oats were unchanged to 2.25 a bushel; while March soybeans were off 6 cents at $8.8550 bushel.

Beef and pork were higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. February live cattle was up 1.78 cents to $1.3180 a pound; January feeder cattle gained 3.15 cents to $1.5865 a pound; while February lean hogs rose .40 cent at $.5685 a pound.
