Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 4.25 cents lower at $4.7840 a bushel; March corn was up 1.50 cents higher to $3.7440 a bushel; March oats were .50 cent lower at $2.3440 a bushel; while January soybeans gained .50 cent at 8.8260 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork were higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was 1.33 cents higher at $1.2848 a pound; January feeder cattle was 1.00 cent higher at $1.5745 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.30 cents to $.5883 a pound.
