Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 4.50 cents higher at $4.9520 a bushel; December corn was 1.25 cents higher at $3.6020 a bushel; December oats were .25 cent lower at $2.2620 a bushel; while January soybeans were .50 cent higher at 8.56 a bushel.

Beef highe and pork higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 3.00 cents higher at $1.3133 a pound; January feeder cattle was 4.28 cents higher at $1.6585 a pound; December lean hogs gained 2.03 cents to $.5558 a pound.
