Grain higher and livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery advanced 8.50 cents to $5.1650 a bushel; December corn was up 4 cents to 3.8050 a bushel; December oats were rose 2.50 cents to 2.25 a bushel; while January soybeans were gained .25 cent to $8.79 bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was unchanged on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off 1.45 cents to $1.4022 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.62 cents to $1.9065 a pound; while December lean hogs were unchanged at $.5822 a pound.
