Grain higher and livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery advanced 7 cents to $5.22 a bushel; September corn was up 2.25 cents to 3.8225 a bushel; December oats were rose .25 cent to 2.2725 a bushel; while November soybeans were gained 5 cents to $8.8375 bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off 1.08 cents to $1.4172 a pound; November feeder cattle fell 1.02 cents to $1.9090 a pound; while December lean hogs lost .67 cent at $.5920 a pound.
