Grain mixed and livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery advanced 9 cents to $5.15 a bushel; September corn was up 4 cents to 3.80 a bushel; December oats were unchanged to 2.27 a bushel; while November soybeans were off 2.75 cents to $8.7875 bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off .80 cent to $1.4280 a pound; November feeder cattle fell .33 cent to $1.9192 a pound; while December lean hogs lost 1.53 cents at $.5987 a pound.
